Review compatibility before upgrading

Before upgrading, existing hardware and software should be reviewed for compatibility. This generally takes a half hour to an hour per Mac. To review compatibility, we will need a list of equipment, the main software used and System Profiler reports:

1. Select Apple menu->About This Mac.
2. Select More Info... / System Report...
3. Select File menu->Save...
4. Save the report file.
5. Email the report file, along with a list of the main software and equipment used.
